Former Chester City favourite, goalkeeper Wayne Brown, is back in League Two after making the switch from recently promoted Hereford United to Mancunian side Bury.

It has been reveals Brown had rejected a new contract at Edgar Street in favour of signing a two-year deal at Gigg Lane.

The move is a somewhat coup for Bury as they beat off interest from other clubs to sign the experienced keeper.

All the very best Brownie from Vital Chester City. What we wouldn’t give for a goalkeeper of his talents!
