It has been reported that Chester City midfielder Kevin Ellison could be on his way out of the Deva Stadium this summer.

Speculation is rife about tht midfield, whom Chester City allegedly tried to offload to Stockport County and Wrexham during the transfer window, could be on his way back to Stockport County.

It has been reported on Vital Stockport County that the Edgeley Park club have had a bid for a bid for Kevin Ellison accepted by the Deva Stadium club.

Ellison has already had a spell at County during his footballing career. He bagged just two goals in 33 starts and made 15 substitute appearances for County in the league between 2001 and 2004.

Since then he has played for Lincoln City, Chester City, Hull City, Tranmere Rovers and then back to Chester City.

Since leaving County he has scored 26 league goals in four years.

Is this another attempt to reduce the wage bill at the Deva Stadium? Would Ellison do well at Stockport County in League One next term. Tell us what you think. Have your say here on Vital Chester City today.
