Chester City have re-appointed Mark Wright as manager of the League Two. This will be the former Liverpool and England defenders third stint as manager at the Deva Stadium club, where he famously won the club promotion as Nationwide Conference Champions in 2004.

Also returning will be Steve Bleasdale as Assistant Manager. Bleasdale assisteded Wright during Chester’s Conference years before going on to manage Peterborough United, League of Wales side Bangor City and mose recently non-league Leigh Genesis.

Chester fans will be hoping these appointments will bring more successful days back to the Deva Stadium.

What do you think of this appointment? Are they a good move by Chester City Football Club? Have you say on the Vital Chester City forum right here.
