Chester City’s impressive youth team, led by manager Jim Hackett, took a break from league action with an away Puma Alliance Cup game against Macclesfield Town, at Moss Rose last weekend.

The game looked like it was going to end as a 0-0 draw before Sean Kelly put a header away in extra time.

Having dismissed of the threat from our Cheshire neighbours, Chester City have drawn Mancunian side Rochdale in the second round.

The game will be played at the Airfield, Broughton on the 11 November with a 11am kick off. Admission is free of charge and all are welcome to attend.
