Keith Curle wants more from his strikers after their poor run continued with defeat to lowly Stockport.

The Blues have won just once in their last 13 games in all competitions, and Liam Dickinson’s brace ensured that dismal run went on as the Hatters claimed a 2-1 win at the Saunders Honda Stadium.

And Curle said: ‘We created enough chances to probably win two games. If you don’t take your chances you always run the risk of being exposed, and it was naive defending for both goals.

‘For a large percentage of the game we played well. The effort, commitment, desire, and willingness were all there, but in the final third we were a little bit hasty and not as composed as we should be.

‘We got into some good goal-scoring opportunities but didn’t hit the target or make their goalkeeper work.’
