The on-off transfer saga of Kevin Ellison’s proposed moved to Stockport County appears to be off again.

The Blues midfield winger appears to be staying put after City boss, Simon Davies, told local press reporters that the player wants to stay put at the Deva Stadium.

It is believed Stockport County had agreed a transfer fee in the region of five figures to bring their former player back to Edgeley Park, but if reports are right, Ellison now appears to have rejected the chance to join County for the second time in his career as City manager Davies claims that ‘psycho’ is looking forward to the forthcoming campaign with Chester City.

What do you think? Is Ellison right to decide to see out his contract at the Deva Stadium? Have your say right here at Vital Chester City.
