City boss Mark Wright believe the Blues have given themselves a fighting chance of survival. Speaking after beating Macclesfield Town over the weekend, Wright doesn’t want to get carried away – well not just yet!

Wright said: ‘Two wins doesn’t mean anything, all it means is that we have given ourselves a chance, and when you get into that winning stride it becomes important when you’re down there near the bottom.

‘We’re confident, we’re going into the last seven games on a bit of a bounce, and we dragged a lot of teams back in and around us and it gives us everything to play for.

‘If we keep playing like that we can get ourselves out of it, but there is a long way to go.’
