Two former Chester City players have been on the move this week.

We’re all delighted to here that Glenn Cronin has put pen to paper on a deal with Irish Premier side Bohemian F.C.

The former Exeter City and Republic of Ireland midfielder Glenn Cronin signed a one year contract with the Dublin based club.

Cronin had been on trial at Dalymount Park for the past two months and his signing was announced ahead of Wednesday night`s transfer deadline.

The 26-year-old has abundant experience of the professional game in England, having made more than 140 appearances for the Grecians over the past six years.

He left Exeter, where he had been club captain, for Chester City but his impact at the Deva Stadium was curtailed by a couple of serious injuries.

Meanwhile former Chester City star Kevin Rapley has returned to Cheshire, signing for Witton Albion after moving from Barrow FC.

We wish both players all the very best for their future careers.
