John Hartson has turned down the chance to join City on loan, the deal was agreed with West Bromwich Albion but the former Wales and Celtic Ace turned down the move, still believing he is capable of playing at a higher level. However it is believed should City gain promotion he said he would be interested next year, thanks but no thanks John.
City director Bob Gray told the official site ‘West Bromwich Albion had agreed to John Hartson joining us on loan with a view to us signing him permanently in the January transfer window, but the player won’t drop down to play in League Two’.

I don’t know why he would want to drop down.
Because he isn’t getting a game and is old now?
We at Wednesday wanted him but he was asking for £20k a week!!
