It has been reported that League Two rivals Accrington Stanley have signed Liverpool reserve team striker Craig Lindfield on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has yet to break into the first-team picture at Anfield, but has gained senior experience from loan stints with Notts County, Chester City and Bournemouth.

Meanwhile, Reds midfielder Andy Proctor has admitted that he would consider leaving the club if a bigger club than recent bidders Rochdale and Macclesfield Town came knocking.

He told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: ‘The gaffer made me aware of the two bids and told me he had turned them down, so I’ve not really had my head turned.

‘If a bid was accepted from a club from a league higher or certainly pushing for that, I’d have to think about it.’
