Former Chester City defender Rob Marsh-Evans has joned Vauxhall Motors.

Motors boss, Carl Macauley, has secured the services of Marsh-Evans after the departure of Jay Smith to Altrincham last week.

Marsh-Evans, who has joined Motors from Leigh Genesis where he was club captain, is expected to play against Hucknall Town at Rivacre Park (3pm).

He spent two successful loan spells at Vauxhall last season and at 6ft 3in, will add some height to the Vauxhall back line.

Everyone at Vital Chester City wishes Rob all the best for the future.
