CHESTER celebrated their first win in 19 (Boxing day), and last 11 on the road; with a 2-1 victory at charitable County.

The first came against the run of play after Notts had dominated the early stages. On 14 minutes a Laurence Wilson corner saw Dave Mannix head Chester in front after Butcher inadvertently flicked the ball into his path. We then proceeded to dominate again and our luck was typified moments before half time. Matt Hamshaw was clearly held back in the box, yet the ref and lino saw nothing.
