It has been reported today that Chester City have received an enquiry from a fellow Coca-Cola League Two club about the availability of their former Liverpool midfielder Richie Partridge.

The 28-year-old Dublin-born player was signed by former City manager Bobby Williamson just over 12 months ago but speaking to the Liverpool Daily Post, Chester City`s chief executive Bob Gray said: “We have received an approach for the player and it`s now up to our manager and the player himself.’

‘If they want to take the matter further, fine; if they don`t then we will inform the other club accordingly.”
