Mark Wright’s Chester City travel south today to face MK Dons for the first time since the club’s franchise was transfered to Milton Keynes.

On the pitch and both clubs are plagued by injuries and suspensions. The hosts will be without the services of a trio of regular first teamers, with striker Izale McLeod, Jon-Paul McGovern and Aaron Wilbraham all ruled out through suspension.

Jamie Smith faces a late fitness test on his hamstring injury, but Craig Morgan is out with a broken nose.

Meanwhile, Chester City could have former Wrexham striker Jon Walters available after being out for a fortnight with an ankle injury that he sustained against Wycombe Wanderers.

Midfielder Dean Bennett (back) came through a midweek reserve game, and Phil Bolland faces a late fitness team whilst long term absentee Glenn Cronin will definately be out.

We’ll have a full match report after the game right here on Vital Chester City.
