Chester City owner Stephen Vaughan is hoping new manager Mark Wright can kick start the Blues campaign, but it could be a case of too little too late!

‘I look forward to a very interesting season,’ said Vaughan, speaking on BBC local radio.

Commenting on the appointment of the new management team of Mark Wright and Steve Bleasdale, Vaughan said ‘I believe Mark and Steve will drag us straight up that table.’

‘I’ve brought them in to instil a bit of passion, a bit of self belief and certainly a bit of discipline into this side.’

Do you think the new management team will make a difference, we’d love to hear your thoughts right here on Vital Chester City.
