Reports from Wrexham Football Club suggest there is to be a huge interest for tickets ahead of the massive league two borderland battle with our local rivals, Wrexham on 28 December.

The Dragons’ official website announced that the club has been inundated with requests for tickets from their own supporters for the clash at the Saunders Honda Stadium.

Wrexham secretary Geraint Parry said: ‘We normally only get about 1,500 tickets from Chester and they sell out fairly quickly. I’d anticipate 90% will sell out within a day or two.’

Dragons boss Denis Smith added: ‘I’m not at all surprised at the demand. This is a big game for both clubs.’

Supporters are reminded that due to safety fears, this league two clash has been brought forward to a 12 noon kick off in Chester.
