Chester City manager Mark Wright was pleased with his side’s fight back against Luton Town on Tuesday night.

Speaking in his post match press conference, the former Liverpool and England defender said:

‘It was a good game of football for everyone. Even I enjoyed it and I don’t usually enjoy games.

‘At half-time I told them they weren’t doing what we told them. We regrouped and in the second half they went out and squeezed the play and got their just deserts.

‘They (Luton) were the better side in the first half, and we were the better in the second half.

‘To get a draw against them after going two-nil down is a great result. The players showed great character to come back against what is a very good Luton side.’
