Chester City boss Mark Wright feels his strikers need to be more confident in front of goal.

City missed the chance to secure three valuable points after a midweek draw against Torquay and the former England international defender admitted his side have been struggling to put the ball in the back of the net.

‘It’s probably a lack of confidence in front of goal that is stopping us,’ he said.

‘Our performances are strong it wasn’t a must-win game (against Torquay), rather it was one we couldn’t afford to lose.’
