The decision to offer the England Managerial post to a Brazilian has provoked a mixed reaction in the footballing work.

We spoke to Blues Boss and former England International Defender Mark Wright about today’s news. He said that although the Brazilian born Scolari looks good on paper, it might have been better to appoint somebody English.

‘He’s got a great record and looks to be a likeable character and a very good pedigree, but at the same time I think there are a lot of people that would have liked to have seen, if the appointment was right, to be an Englishman.’
