Hapless Chester City capitulated again at Adams Park on Tuesday night, extending their winless streak to 13 games.
Yet to win in 2009, Chester City continued to struggle against a strong promotion chasing Wycombe side. It was always going to be a difficult for Chester to overcome the Wanderers, but with Bournemouth, Luton and Barnet all making ground on City, the Blues now face a massive relegation dogfight on Saturday when they face Barnet.
Now that they are just four points away from safety, this is a must win match, but considering Barnet’s midweek victory over high flying Rochdale, the Bees will be no pushovers for Mark Wright’s men.
Matt Phillips and Jon-Paul Pittman bagged the goals that earned the Bucks a deserved victory, which put them into second place in the League Two table.

Just when you needed a least a point you walk away with nothing – your away form is a bit like my team. Good luck for the rest of the season – I think you’ll need it.
