City’s chairman Stephen Vaughan has explained how he expects to face a fine in the coming weeks. City’s coach turned up late for the match, which resulted in a 50 minute delay to kick off. Despite saying the bus had left in plenty of time to arrive, Steve explains how Lincoln have put in an official complaint to The Fa, he told City’s official site:
‘Lincoln City have put in an official complaint to the Football League about our late arrival.
‘We are preparing for a fine and we’ll pay whatever fine they give us, the coach left in plenty of time but we’ll just have to suffer the consequences. I have not yet got any idea what the fine will be, but we’ve got no option but to pay it.’
